Spaces Recording

Roadmap — Phase 2, not yet built

Spaces recording is a Phase 2 / roadmap capability. It is not implemented in the audited codebase and no StreetChat backend service is deployed today. (See the overview for full status.)

Phase 2 capability · operator extension point. The design targets standard streaming-audio sources — X Spaces, YouTube Live, podcast feeds, and meeting recordings — feeding each captured stream into the same ingest → transcribe → extract pipeline used for file ingest. This requires the backend service mode (FastAPI) to be hosted first, so it will wire in once that server lands.
